10.1英寸版本规格基本一致。唯一特殊的点在于并未罗列其屏幕分辨率。两款平板均搭载Android 9 Pie系统。虽然3月份爆料的消息将由中国公司生产，但是似乎搭载的是原生Android系统。
为什么沃尔玛会在这个时间推出售价如此低廉的平板设备？早前沃尔玛曾表示，今年会把业务重心放在电子产品和家居产品上，似乎现在的平板设备是对其此前承诺的兑现。
另一方面，外界也把目光朝向了亚马逊Fire。认为沃尔玛的ONN平板是对亚马逊的叫板。亚马逊前不久对Fire7进行了更新，推出的新款Fire 7在屏幕尺寸上并未发生变化，但是在内部配置上进行了升级。新款的Fire 7平板搭载了主频为1.3GHz的四核处理器以及1GB内存。支持最高可选32GB ROM，并通过microSD卡槽拓展支持最大512GB存储空间。
新款Fire 7平板电脑提供了自带广告的版本和纯净版可选。前者在锁屏页面上显示第三方广告，售价比后者同配置便宜15美元。去除所有广告的版本中，16GB内存版本售价约合人民币482元，32GB内存版本约合人民币585元。此外，亚马逊还推出了一款Fire 7 Kids Edition平板电脑，仅有16GB版本，售价为688元。沃尔玛Onn平板与亚马逊Fire似乎还是有叫板的实力的。
但是无论是亚马逊还是沃尔玛，可能都不得不面对一个事实。根据Strategy Analytics的数据，2018年平板电脑出货量整体下降了6.2%。苹果的iPad销量最佳，其次是三星和亚马逊的平板电脑。全球平板电脑出货量最高峰是2014年，出货量达2.296亿台，此后市场一直走下坡路，连续下滑。沃尔玛在平板电脑市场表现不佳时入局，多少让人诧异。
