6月26日晚，砂之盒颁奖礼在青岛隆重举行。青岛市文化和旅游局党组副书记、副局长蔡全记副局长、东方影都融创影视产业园总裁孙恒勤、青岛西海岸文化产业投资有限公司董事会主席苑梅林、国家一级导演，现任中国电视剧导演协会理事、副秘书长，央视微电影导演中心秘书长车径行、青岛市蓝湾国际城市发展基金会秘书长楼伟列均莅临现场。全球各大国际电影节VR单元策展人、艺术家、行业嘉宾、媒体及来自全球的优秀内容开发者团队齐聚一堂，共同见证这场行业盛典。
2019青岛国际VR影像周暨SIF砂之盒沉浸影像展（SIF 2019）致力于捕捉国际沉浸艺术未来的潮流和趋向，把握沉浸叙事内容的发展脉络，拓展沉浸叙事的边界，探讨沉浸叙事内容的更多可能。展映分为竞赛单元和非竞赛单元，最终颁出最佳沉浸叙事奖、最佳沉浸体验奖、最佳沉浸艺术奖、最佳沉浸营销奖、最佳中国作品奖以及评委会大奖等六大奖项。
楼彦昕在颁奖礼现场表示，砂之盒颁奖礼旨在鼓励中国和全球创作人借助平台展示作品，帮助链接更好的全球资源。此外，SIF将发挥平台在中国的价值，将全球优质创作人介绍给中国，同时将中国好的作品推向全球。
本次砂之盒颁奖礼，由于最佳沉浸营销奖在作品收集时没有达到评奖数量，因此本次颁奖典礼不颁发该奖项，但这个奖项依然会保留在以后的砂之盒沉浸影像展，我们也希望今后能有更多沉浸影像作品在营销界发挥更大的能量。
